As the title says, my Toad and Finger are dying. They are very similar in size and both have flopped over. The Finger is deteriorating, and the Toadstool is right behind. I have had them for months and they always have thrived. I am afraid I am not feeding something they need. I feed Coralvite. Zooplankton, and Microvert twice a week. Any suggestions. All Params are OK. Also all other corals and fish are very healthy.

Robman, my suggestion would be to stop dosing those chemicals altogether. They really aren't needed IMO, just another way for companies to market some other form of "snake oil" in a bottle. You truly don't know what is in their and from my experience water changes with good parameters are always key to coral health. Mind you non photosynthetic corals must be fed, and feeding lobos, acans and others will definitely help them grow, but these products do little but add extra contaminants into the water column. What are your params btw? Any changes recently? Maybe your light bulbs need changing?

    Your tank looks fantastic :)

I should also add that you do need some form of Calcium, Alk, Magnesium, and pH additives and of course keep your salinity within range, but doing regular water changes along with testing/maintaining your params will ensure proper health in your ecosystem, most of those food/vitamin additives are not worth the money.

fragged my xenia, and it put out some slime while cutting it, but did that before with no effects. Been dosing the above for a long time with no effects.
