Toad stool splitting?

    At lunch time today, as usual, standing in front of the tank I discover the toad stool looks like it is going to split. Does not look or seem sick or unhealthy in any way, just has this hole and line. Do they split like this?

    Not sure if it will split all of the way, but my cousin's did the same thing recently. It looked really unhappy and retracted for a few days. Now it is just as happy as it has ever been. You shouldn't be too concerned.

    Cool, this guy is about 12 inches across when opened. He may be common to many, but I am pretty proud of him.

    honestly... looks like its closin up a bit. Just the way he is closin up may give an illusion to our eyes.
