Tiny Tube Worms? Or Something Else?

    Yes, and probably a little more with shipping. Being a gift, I didnt want to ask.

    I have now noticed the exact same white hair looking things in my tank. Did you ever find anything else that narrowed it down?

    Thanks for the link, eveolved. How many times was that image magnified? lol. Mine are so dang tiny. I have a LOT of them though on the one rock.

    I've left mine just be, as they haven't caused me any grief. I looked into the matter pretty hard once I finally figured out what they were. All the removal methods weren't worth the risk or effort, considering they weren't doing anything "bad". I've also read they disappear for some people, without a solid cause.

    I'd just keep on any corals near them.

    Ok, I will watch it. Could I just move the single rock to the fuge and have no worries? I don't see it on any other rocks - perhaps this could prevent any further spread of the hydroids?
