Tiny black worms

    I am having this same problem as Stepanie. Has anyone found out how to get rid of these nuisance worms? PM me please. My tank is being over run. Thanks!

    will a sand sifting goby eat all the worms?

    the fact that they all came out of the sand like that means they are probably stressed.
    Normal behavior for bristle worms and the like, is that they will stay hidden in the sand/rockwork, and may only poke their head about at night.

    Just to understand this correctly- you have 0 fish in your tank, and nothing else that would produce waste... .you've done several 20% and 50% water changes, and your phosphates are not dropping down?, than you did a 100% water change, and you still have phosphates?

    My first guess would be that whatever water you are using for your water change is terribly filled with phosphates. My second guess would be that you have something in your tank leeching a terribly large amount of phosphates.
