i have a DSB with a little bit of rubble above it. The container plastic container and fish in there is just temporary for a day or two. Im wondering if the pipe putting water into the fuge section dripping slowly like that on the top of the water is effective. Do i need to put the pipe in the water or lower or make the flow stronger? Also the chaeto is small and sinks is that normal? I read the chaeto should be turning to be most effective. Is the flow too little for the chaeto? Thanks for the help.

It's hard to tell from your photos, but your setup looks great to me. Some say chaetonorpha should tumble for the best growth overall, but from my research I do not think this is necessary.

Your fine with what you have but a little more flow wouldn't hurt.
