This is for ppl who have odyssea lights

Ok, i'm "this close" to getting the ice cap ballasts and may as well get new bulbs. What temp bulbs and brand are you guys running with this fixture and are you still running with the PC actinic?

 

Looks really awesome! You should have only hooked one up first and got a side-by-side shot, though.

 

Thanks for the info Luna. kinda upsets me cause I had an Odyssea PC set up and a ballast burned out. I came here to try to find a replacement ballast, about 4 months ago, and I recommended Icecap. Then I was told by more than a few people that Icecap or "Icecrap" as they called it were worthless. so after looking a lil longer, I decided to get rid of the fixture.

I should have just went w/ my gut anyway, cause now i'm wishing i still had that fixture

The new bulbs are SPS Blue Life bulbs @ 14k and yes the PC actinics are on.

What is the model # of those Icecap ballasts?
I wanna see if I can source them up here in Canada.

BTW - I replaced the stock bulbs with XM bulbs - HUGE difference.
