    Hello
I'm thinking of downgrading my 75 to 55. My 75 is 3ft long and 32" tall. The 55 is a standard 55. Should I downgrade? My tank is in front of a window. I hate the green algae and the tank being overstocked.

you realize downgrading will only make you more over stocked right?;D

there is no use keeping a tank you don't want tho, give it to me...

seriously, if you want to downgrade I would get a 40 gallon breeder much nicer shape, and get rid of that tang if you have one.

maybe get a smaler tank to suplement that tank and it takes the overload of that tank off a bit or take some fish to LFS and see if they will give you credit for it

I'll probably give away all the fish. I only want 1 tang. What is the size of a 40gallon breeder?.

I really don't recommend tangs, unless babies, for tanks less the 70gallons.

People say a yellow tang can go in a tank that is 4ft long.

people can say what they want, I feel bad for such a large active fish put in a smaller tank. I used to have one in a 55 when I first started, but I felt so bad the thing would either hide or swim around in circles all day. I think it got alot more outgoing and less stressed when i moved it to the 90g.

    Isn't a 90 no different then a 55
    55
    48 x 12½ x 21 Tall
    90
    48 x 18 x 25 Tall
The difference is width and height.
Fish swim back and fourth. The only thing I would need to buy is the tank at petco for $55
