Ugggggghhhhhh this suuuuucks sooooo baaaaaaad. Less than 5 more hours and I'll have been awake for 24 hours.

Well, it's official. Jwin has the piggy flu. He feels awful, as he has graphically described. Fortunely, we were still in the 48-hour window to get the Tamiflu, so he started that today. Just pray Mom doesn't get it - nobody will take care of me!

 

Is he being quarantined? Here's hoping that Mom doesn't get it!!!

Now they are saying it has broken into multiple strains. People are already catching it multiple times and there is only the vaccine for the one. Goody. I can't wait to get it again sometime soon.
At least you guys get tamiflu in an timely matter. I went in, got tested, that took 48 hours. Then the tamiflu after its confirmed was another 48 hours away. By that time I was feeling better.

He's impossible to quarantine - he wanders all over the house wrapped in a blanket - I have 3 cans of Lysol in force, lots of handsanitizer. I make him hold out his hand and I drop his pills in it, so I don't have to touch him! I also banished him from coming anywhere near my computer! Poor thing, he's normally so hyper (in case you hadn't noticed). When he's laying around wrapped in a blanket, he's really sick!

 

To enhance your chances of not getting sick, I would spray the Lysol directly in to his mucus membranes. That way the virus is dead before it even goes airborne. It's the only way to be sure.
