Hello to all… Some may remember I was to get keys to a new house early this month. Well all went well until on May 2, the wife’s water broke at 20wks 3 days.. For those who have kids that is not good once so ever… After being bounced around from Hillcrest hospital and now to Cleveland Metro with a Level 3 premichild care.. Here we sit and wait… The bigg concern is that with out the water (amblianic fluid) there is lil chance that his lungs will develop properly or even at all. Don’t get me wrong we are doing everything we can to give this little guy a fighting chance. As of today we are 24wks and 4 days… So far the we have been doing research to find other stories such as ours and well the out comes in some cases are great and well other’s are not so great.. Now saying that and now that this is posted keep us in your thoughts and prayers… And as we find out more info will keep everyone informed.

    Thank you So Much…
Johonathon , Kimberly and Baby Gabriel.

words fail me, which is unusual for me
all I can think of is to say "I do sincerely hope that everything works out for you, your wife and your baby"

Never give up hope! Every day longer she goes helps. Jwin was born at 29 weeks, along with his 2 brothers. I had been in the hospital since 25 weeks. One of Justin's brothers had pretty severe lung complications, bad enough to bring in a specialist from a major teaching hospital, but he managed to pull through and just has some issues with asthma. That was 19 years ago and medicine has come a long way since then. We had to try an experimental drug and sign a release that we knew what we were getting into. Will pray for you all! Please keep us posted.

Hey to give you a little hope, my wifes brothers are twins, they were born RIDICULOUSLY early, maybe as early as yours. I dont think they weighed more than 2 LBS combined at birth, COMBINED......it wasnt a very properly handled pregnancy. They are here now bugging the crap out of me, 20 years later. Our prayers are with you.

I know how scary it is.... believe me. My 3 boys weighed less than 9 pounds all together. Last night, they graduated from high school! What a blessing! It's awful being in the hospital like that - nothing like lying on your left side for an entire month! Tell her to hang in there - and remember every single day counts. :)

Oh man, my thoughts are with you and yours. The fact that your wife is at week 24 after such an occurance is wonderful. A testament to all involved, especially Mom. We had a scare with our boy at 25 weeks, so we understand your feelings and plight. Our prayers are with you and yours. Keep us posted. Please.
