    I witnessed a great thing this morning while I was feeding my tank with some live Brine Shrimp I had just bought. The lady gave me a couple turbo snails for free and threw them into the bag of Brine shrimp.

    When I put the snails in the tank they had some live brine shrimp stuck to them and my Mandarin Dragonet walked right up and started sucking them right off the snail!

    Now I dont have to stress that he only eats copepods however Im looking for a way to anchor or basket a good size load of Live Brine Shrimp for him to eat.

    They have to be alive, and they have to be on the bottom.

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Does that mean using a baster or something and just shooting some at him until he catches on?

    What are the absolute best tools for this?

    Thanks alot.

    I used some craft plastic mesh and a urine cup I cut it half. The mesh basicaly replaced the middle of the urine cup. The mandarin will suck the brine out through the holes. I'll see if I can fine the contraption.

    Incognito that seems like what im trying to accomplish. I cant visualize your choice of "mesh". Is my thinking that porch/window screening might be a good size correct?

    I've also already tried tying them to the rock by their tail but I only got 3 tied up every five or so hours. Its like they just wont stay still and I end up killing them with my giant hands. Its so incredibly frustrating. ;-}

    I know i'll need one eventually (target feeding stick) for corals, and im wanting to start using a feeding stick for the others (anemone,coral, certain crabs) instead of my hands. Yes im getting one thanks.

    Any more examples? Thanks everybody!

    I will dig in the garage and see what I can find. I made it for seahorses.

    It's called plastic canvas, it seems. You can buy it pretty much anywhere with a variety of sized holes. I'm not sure what the screen material is.

    I don't have any canvas, but I'm going to make a "pretend" one. Stay tuned for poor iPhone pics.

    I think you you be better off going with that verses the screen, it's non-toxic, glues easily and costs less than a buck.
