    API for calcium and dkh. Red sea for mag. I tryed Tropic Marin for mg/cal boy what a mistake $40 dollars down the drain.

    I use API as well. Never tried anything else. I like them because they are in expensive and easy to use;)

    That's a good one to start with.
    Like said above you still need MG for a reef.


    Salifert is good but only measures up to about 1500. Which is fine if you don't way overshoot your magnesium. I like the Elos better cuz it can measure way up there.. And I've added too much more than once.

    Alright nice to know, I ordered the API test kit for now. I missed my delivery today :( I will be getting it tomorrow ;D

    +2 on Mag.

    I use api reef master kit, it has phosphate, calcium, dkh, nitrate..

    any iodine and strontium test kit brands will work. do a web search.. just follow instructions..

    I've been using it, and it's a titration kit. It's likely to be more accurate than the drip-n-shake kits, I'd imagine.

    API reef master kit is cheap and ok to use.. calcium,dkh,nitrate,phos.

    i use their api ph too..
    and red sea mag test.

    i dont have amon or nitrite kits, and dont have iodine or strontium either..
