Wondering if you can use a sump for you 35g Nano tank instead of a HOB?
YES! Of course you can! Sump is always better than a HOB + it makes your tank look a lot more clean, and you don't need to worry about overflow!:hehe::hehe:

Sump for my nano cube 14x12x20

First chamber overflow line with filter sock and protien skimmer area ( eshopps nano skimmer of course)
Then a refugium area to help keep my ph and nutrient levels in check
Finally a small chamber to put a small return pump in

Probe holders, dosing line holder, adjustable refugium level, also a thin tall ATO water container that could fit between the back of the stand and the wall would be sick lol

Bottom and braceing white, sides clear, and clear blue baffles lol

Since it is so popular for people to drill there all in one tanks IM, Nano Cube, Biocube, Redsea ect...
You guys should come out with a special lineup of sumps that all fit perfectly under the stands for these tanks

Yea I think that takes care of it lol ;):D:p

Neat idea for a ATO container NewReef. If room permits, that is pretty cool.

Thank Matt , even with a small set up like my 12 gallon nano cube if you create a container the size of the stand and let's say you make it 5 inchs thick your going to be looking at around 6 to 8 gallons that's like a month of ato water for me lol.

But In order for it to work you would have to build it right. Make it all black so that it won't stand out, do a strip of clear acrylic with levels on one side so that you can read the water level easily, large opening on top so that fill up is a breeze, bulkhead so that you can plum your ato pump, and finally the container has to have a notch built into it between the stand and the container that way you can run your power cord from you tank to your stand.
