    Looking at lights for my 90 gallon. Tell me what you think about these. I plan on doing a reef. Be brutally honest, because I don't want to invest money in something lame-o. Thanks! P.s. I've read good things about this brand.

    For a reef tank, you can have either T5's or MH, its really up to you. I personally like MH. Just keep in mind that the depth of your tank is important.

    I would be concerned with anything under 8 lamps if you're doing T5 on a 90. Depth is important as Luna said. It depends on the corals you want to keep. I would not even consider a 4 lamp on a 90. 6 lamp maybe if you don't mind placing corals up a bit farther. 8 would be good.

    My tank is pretty deep, it's 25". So, that rules out the 4 lamp. I don't mind placing the corals higher. I'll look around for 8 lamp lights, I didn't even see any....

    I've read reviews about the Aquaticlife brand and people just love the quality, like you said.
