    i'd go with a spectrapure ro/di unit instead.

    It would be fine for freshwater set-ups maybe. Your not likely to get all the TDS out, it's probably for flourides and clorines only. Personally I would either buy RO/DI water from the local grocery or bite the bullet and get a spectrapure syustem. Ooopps that's exactly what I did, my bad. ;)

    yeah well you'll probably need it either way; you can't go cheap with this kind of stuff.

    I had one of those. IMO your better off spending the money on a RO/DI. I just ordered this RO/DI from Bulk Reef Supply. BRS has decent prices and good reviews.
