    Are you using a refractometer or a hydrometer?
    The hydrometers are notoriously inaccurate.

    if you dont then dont rush or panic or freak....

    If you do still dont panic or freak not the end of the world.

    I would remove 3 gallons to start from your tank and replace with ro freshwater.

    I would bring it down slowly.... big swing could be disastrous maybe down to 1.028-9 tonight and a little bit more tommorow night.
    this being said cause Im assuming you have living things in your tank
