This is too true. My 125 dt is locked so they cant open the cabinet where the sump is located. They would love to add some things to that sump. Unfortunately I dont think my tank would love the additives.;D

    Hello there,

I would not do anything to quickly. He will most likely be ok. I had a 37g with a yellow tang and a juvenille koran angel and some sort of damsel back in college and we had a ice storm come through that knocked the electricity out for a week. I eventually had to take the fish to the pet store but they were in the tank for 2-3 days and the temp was in the low to mid 50's by the time they were moved. All fish survived.

Do you have an additional heater that you can place in the tank to help bring it up?

The Koran had a little issue with his swim bladder for a couple days after the ordeal but eventually recovered 100%.

    haha, Tang police!

Yes, it absolutely is. That is why I prefaced it with "when I was in college", probably should have added... "Way back in 1994... before I knew any better".

Then eventually were rehomed to someone with a much larger tank. I like to think they could still be alive today ;)

Anyway, the intent was to let Ryland know that someone had experienced 100% recovery with identical fish in colder water for a much longer period of time.

Who knows, maybe the drop in temp will kill off the ich. ;)

Protect & Serve. I guess someone has to do it. It is so hard to resist. ;)

Ryland-good luck, hope he makes it through. So glad my dog does not have opposable thumbs.
