I want to know for a 29 gallon with 2 Orandas what is the best hang on filter should i buy. I was thinking about Hagan Aqua Clear. Should I buy 2 30 gallon filters or buy 1 70 gallon filter. Thanks Mike

1-70 gallon rated filter would be my choice.

I was thinking of 2 30 gallons aqua clear. That would pump 150 x 2. That would be ok?? Thanks Mike

    Hey Mike
    my thoughts

I can see the benefit of 2 mechanical filters on a tank, if one fails, (rare these days) you still have biological capacity with the one thats still working
you can also clean on alternate weeks, again this means less disruption of your biological media

but 1 x 70 would be more convenient and only mean 1 plug and only 1 filter to maintain

I have bought a 40 gallon breeder tank for my 2 goldfish and decided to put 2 Aqua clear 50's on it.
