    Actually thought of going the foxface route but had 1 a long time ago and he never munched on the gha, guess no time like the present to try another

    Not to be rude, but if the tank isnt even setup yet, why are you worried about GHA? You are just in the process of setting up a new tank and you are assuming that you are automatically going to have a GHA problem?

    Here is a possibility, it could be an upgrade or transfer and some of the LR may have GHA on it...

    The OP said this is going to be a completely open frag tank. I think they could set it up carefully and avoid introducing GHA into the tank. I've never had GHA in my tanks, I just make sure I dont buy any pieces of rock or anything that has an GHA on it. Nothing wrong with getting a fish that cleans up hair algae, just was confused on why they are assuming they will have it in a new setup.

    on my last one I couldnt keep the gha away it always grew some on my plugs
