I plan on getting 4xT5's, either IceCap or Tek reflectors.
IceCap reflectors are 2.5" wide and Tek reflectors are 3" wide.

My question here really about the bulbs.

What would be the best combinaion of bulbs for my 120gallon tank?

    I currently have 2x250w 14000K MH lights

    Thanks.

Here is what i was looking at

    Bulb # 1
    54W 12000K Aquablue Special T5 HO Fluorescent
Combines the properties of a Blue bulb with a full-spectrum daylight bulb producing a color temperature of approximately 12000K. Great as a stand-alone bulb or in combination with an Blue Plus or Actinic Blue 03 bulb.

    Bulb # 2
54W Blue Plus T5 HO Fluorescent
Combines the properties of a Blue bulb with a Actinic Blue 03 bulb producing a unique spectrum that encourages both bluing in SPS corals and fluorescence in capable corals. Also helps balance out a washed-out/yellow hued tank. Great as a supplement to metal halides or in combination with a 6500K Sun Pro or Aquablue Special bulb.

    Bulb # 3
54W Pro Color T5 HO Fluorescent
Full spectrum bulb characterized by its deep red color section in the 650 - 720 nm range. Deep red spectrum is excellent for bringing out the vibrant reds in an aquarium and enhances the non-fluorescent pigments in corals bringing out the true color of an aquarium. Recommended Use: in combination with at least 3 or more other T5 bulbs. Not recommended as a stand-alone bulb. Warranty: 1 year (Pro-Rated).

    Bulb # 4
    54W True Actinic 03 T5 HO Fluorescent
100% "actinic blue" bulb which produces a spectrum that peaks at 420nm producing a spectrum that encourages ultimate fluorescence and coral enhancement in capable corals. Recommended Use: as a supplement to metal halides or in combination with other T5 bulbs. Warranty: 1 year (Pro-Rated).

    Bulb # 5
    54W 6500K Daylight T5 HO Fluorescent
Full spectrum daylight bulb with high-output to encourage coral growth. Good for bringing out the greens in an aquarium. We recommend using it in combination with 1 or more Blue Plus bulbs. Mean Lumens: 4370. Color Temperature: 6500K. Color Rendering Index (CRI): 85.

    Bulb # 6
    54W 3000K Daylight T5 HO Fluorescent
Full spectrum daylight bulb with high-output to encourage coral growth and a well balanced spectrum to produce good color definition. Excellent for bringing out the yellows, oranges and reds in an aquarium. To balance the almost orange color of the bulb we recommend using it in combination with 2 or more Blue Plus bulbs. Mean Lumens: 4600. Color Temperature: 3000K. Color Rendering Index (CRI): 85.

Well, you have the daylight spectrum with the halides. I would suggest two super actinics and two aquablues, or just four super actinics. I personally run two white actinics and two super actinics

What is your preference? Faster growth or better color?

I would just add a couple Super Actinics to your current light and keep the MH,s.
