Hey. i am setting up a 150 gallon frag thank 8feetLx3feetWx1footH. i have a 72 inch 12 bulb t5 lighting. i am wondering what will be the best height to hang the unit to get most light coverage and what mix of bulbs will get most colour and growth.

 

Hang it 30" above the sand to start, maybe higher if the corals start losing color.

I suggest 6 x ATI Blue Plus and 6 ATI Coral Plus.

 

Where would you suggjest i buy them i live in ontario. would it be cheeper to buy online and get them shiped or my lfs? if online is cheeper what website?

 

I think it will be cheaper online. As for a site I am not sure who ships into Canada from the US or if it is worth it. I don't know of any Canadian websites either. I suggest a thread on Canadian Aquatics websites and see what you get as we have quite a few members from the The Great White North.
