Currently I'm running 4x54w nova extreme high output lights and I an thinking of upgrading to 2x150w metal halides with 2x54w t5 high outputs. What are the pros and cons of sticking with the T5s and switchin to halides? Thanks in advance

T5 run much cooler, less electricity.

MH have a nice shimmer effect, looks more like real daylight, Higher lumens per watt, and deeper water penetration.
In deeper aquariums SPS corals need to be near the top of a T5 tank.
Some people prefer either or... so I think it's kind of a personal preference.
    I like the Metal Halides.
