T5 bulb help! Need 4 bulb combo

    Starting to get some green hair algae so I have dropped my lighting period from 10 - 7 hours...

    Also I believe the cause maybe that the bulbs are getting old...

    I Know feeding can also be an issue... but back on to the lighting... I want to buy new bulbs

    Can you guys give me a good 4 bulb combo for a 72G (I believe 48inch tank)

    I have only an Acan frag and some Rics...

    Right now I believe I am running 2 10k and 2 actinics... but I want to know what do YOU think I should be running...

    If you can be as specific w/ wattage / brand/ etc... that would be great!!

    I am open to any suggestions...

    After a little bit of research I think I may go with ATI 2 x Coral plus and 2 xBlue plus bulbs

    Perfect! I have the same and love it! 2 in 10 has an incredible tank and that is his combination.

    Agreed, good set up thats what I ran when I had my 4 bulb. I actually tried a coral plus and a purple plus, but it looked just dull for lack of a batter word. Corals looked nice and liked it but I mean the tank as a whole just had a bland look. If you want more of a white look you can also swap a coral plus for an aquablue special.

    We have the same problem on our 50 Gallon too, just changed from 8 hours to 6 hours, problem solved.

    Love the ATI bulbs great color and my corals love them;) Just make sure you acclimate and Probably less photo period is going to help;)
