Has anyone else ever fragged or cut out a white piece of a Monti and then placed superglue thinking it would stop any infection. I wish I knew how long until the coral will grow over the ugly superglued area. I am sorry that I used the glue. It looked better without it.

When you first told me about this, I thought you meant you super glued the pieces to a rock to make a new frag. I didn't realize you super glued the edges. I have not heard of anyone doing this before, particularly to stop whatever was the problem. The good news is that monti are fairly hardy and can come back from a lot. However, it will take a while to develop new growth ends. For example, I just bought a red monti cap. and it took about a month to start growing. I am just now able to see the whiter edges where it is growing. Again though, I don't know how it would respond with super glue on the edges. Did you super glue just the spot where it was white, or all around?

I glued the area that was white but the spot is the size of 2 nickels side by side. If I could remove the glue I would but I don't think I can
