Hey guys, I was planning on getting a sun coral today, but I was wondering on how to feed it? I have 13 fish that are pigs at eating. Food doesn't even get half way the tAnk before it's all eaten.. So how should I go by feeding it and preventing them to eats it's food?

I was thinking to take a coke bottle cut in in half and put it over he coral and then put the food inside. That way the fish won't be able to steal it.. ( can this be possible without harming anything?)

I use a large syringe made for cattle and use it to spot feed coral's while the fish are eating.

Alright :) cool. Is brine shrimp a good food for it?
How many times should I feed? How much should I feed? ) guess that depends on the size)

Make sure you glue some rubble or something to the outside of your feeding dome. I always had trouble with mine blowing over.

brine isn't worth much as food... for any creature really in our tanks.

    try some mysis

    (I hope I didn't confuse those two :p)

I spot feed each polyp while the fish are feeding. Each polyp retracts really quick once it has food so it's usually not too much of an issue with getting it stolen. Although, sometimes the cleaner shrimp gets a bit crafty:)

I also spot feed at night when the lights go off, this way the fish can't see the food.
