    If you like the sun corals you out to look at the Dendros. My avatar is the one I have in my tank.
    Easier to have -IMO plus they are known to stay open in the daytime-sun corals are not typically like that.
    Mine stays open at least 80% of the time when the halides are on, and always open the rest of the time.
    Very cool coral
    Here is a thread with some photos;

    I have mine at the bottom, shaded and low to medium flow-I have Ecotech's for circulation and they randomly switch from full to low power throughout the day;
    EcoTech Marine - Revolutionary Pump Technology for Reef Aquariums
    I target feed mine brine or mysis every 3rd to 4th day sometimes more.

    I doubt you would kill it from to much current or light but I have read and my experiances are a non-direct area of light and current-I would not have it in a spot were it can "feel" the direct flow from the Koralia at all.
    Google it and see what all you find, they seem to be pretty hearty.

    They dont need any light (hence non-photosynthetic), just feed them 3-5 times a week and there fine. Mine like mysis and brine fed from a baster. Every once and awhile I will chop up some supermarket shrimp very small and feed them that with a feeding stick.

    The more you feed them the faster they will grow and spread. However about 60% of what I try to feed mine goes to the tank, so you gotta tune your feedings to your filtration and general husbandry.
