Sorry if this has been asked/answered before. I scanned over recent threads and did not see... How the heck do I get stuck on salt/build up off an empty tank? My sister had a 29 gallon she took down and I can't get this crud off to save my life. I've not tried soaking in anything, just scrubbing with hot water til my hands got sore. Thanks in advance!

if it was just salt then hot water should do it

it is more likely coraline algae that was once pink/ purple but since its dead now it is white

for this, a soak in hot water and vinegar solution can help loosen it

for back of tank thats not visible a scotch pad has worked for me
but do not use this on viewing panels as it leaves lots of scratches
