I got this frag today really cheap, but it was labeled as an "acro coral." I have wanted a strawberry shortcake or strawberry mint for a long time, is this it?? Can anyone confirm??

From what I've seen on strawberry shortcake growth, it should be more plating than reaching vertical. As for mint, I don't know...

    Incredible piece though!

Yeah it is the same or a very similar species... it is not the original strawberry shortcake from MACNA but a close import.
You can know for sure once it starts growing, but for now I would say it looks like one

It almost looks like a hybrid between a short cake and a red planet.

I know here a 1 -2 in RP can go for between 20 - 50 dollars depending on the store that sells it. I don't know if that's a reasonable price for it.
