A guy near where I live says you should strain frozen food. I was wondering about opinions on this? Also, i've never done the garlic trick with the food. Can you guys give me some suggestions on food.
    This is what I have
    75g:
Koran Angel(will soon be leaving due to size)
    2 Clowns
    Mimic Tang
    Diamond Goby
    GSP
    Mushrooms

    14g Biocube:
Flame Angel(in here while he's a baby until the Koran leaves)
    Mandarin Goby
    Mushrooms.

    Thanks

I sometimes thaw it, then dry it with a paper towel, but usually I don't do anything. I just thaw it with some tank water and use a turkey baster to put it in the tank.

Regular tea strainers from the grocery/cookware store work well. The reason people rinse their frozen foods is the amount of polyphosphates they contain. I.e. algae food

I always strain my fish's food whether it is brine or mysis. I just thaw the food in RO then pour the thawed, soft food into a brine shrimp net. Then i put it in another cup and mix it with RO again and pour it directly in my tank.
