A rainford's goby isn't large enough to avoid getting eaten by an adult marine betta. And once again I wouldn't have two large fish in a 65 gallon, too messy.
    HTH:)

    Ok so maybe no rainsford...

So its not really a space problem its more of a waste problem? Water changes would help for sure. Oh and we have a small occy clown, would he get eaten?

You may be right about the two large fish in a 65gallon; however, im not sure about the marine betta eating the goby.

I know a few people who own marine Betta's, I've been told that their mouth is smallish and unless they are at their max size of 10 inches which is not typical in a home aquarium the only things you would need to worry about are cleaner shrimp(small shrimp) and the smallest of gopies. they don't have huge mouths like groupers or an angler.

You may want to know Nu-Nu that marine betta's are beautiful; however they rarely leave the caves especially when you have company. They are a beautiful fish; however, it is possible not to see this fish for long periods of time.

if you get a small marine betta you will be fine. just don't get a large one.

Nu-Nu - this is really not how threads should work. Once again this turned into an open-ended chat. Now it's not even about your 250 gallon and the topic has changed.

I've warned you on a couple threads now. This is the last time I try to explain this.

    Chat threads will be closed.
