    ok, thanks everyone. especially TA ;)

    They told me, that it would be ok to put a 90 gallon on there, and it is a really good store with experienced staff, so I think I can trust them. And they let me switch without question. So I got my 90 gallon!!!
    I will put the 2x4's in anyway, that won't hurt.

    Great choice Yvonne! The solution to pollution is dilution, so in the reef hobby total gallons, more, is the name of the game.

    and now I got an answer to my mail I sent to the oceanic customer support. I thaught they would never say it is ok just because of legal things, but I was wrong. They told me that it will hold the weight :)

    So I don't even have to worry about 2x4s

    I love my 80 gallon with 30 gallon sump/refugium. You'll have a blast.

    Cut out the side of my stand to accomodate the 30 gallon S/R and used 1" x 1" to reinforce where we made the cut out. You won't have to modify your stand and that's way cool!
