It should be placed with the frag bottom glued or wedged in the rock work. Allowing the branches to stand vertical. Leaning the tissue of the branches against the rock work may lead to issues.

Just asking because I have seen LR with small frags that just magically start growing from no where

That happens to me when I move an encrusted pieces of sps or any coral. It's amazing how small a piece can be left behind and still grow into a coral. With sps you want flow to the tissue and exposed surface area. Leaning might be very well be fine but if you can mount it vertically rather than leaning I think that would be a good idea.

So where the frag is located now is where I think I will place it. Once my LED fixtures come in the entire tank will get a lot more light!

Just eventually might want to remove that Devil's Hand coral, they get big and kinda ugly but I didn't really know that when I first started! Also no clues on how to safely remove it.

    Looks good.

And it does look like a BN now that I see it placed.

That looks like a great spot for it.

Thanks; most of the polyps are out now. Hopefully the color will come back.

Well like I said before the guy was calling it Candy Cane SPS, not sure why lol. I hope I did good for the 35-40 bucks I paid. Not much SPS around my parts, and I'm also excited about the pink frag I will be getting soon. I will post about it as well because I'm sure he is probably calling is Willy Wonka or something
