I love looking at these type of photos, so I hope you all do too.

I am hoping that some of these begin to take off soon now that encrusting has almost completely covered the plugs.

Most of these frags were added in 3 months ago tomorrow.

8/4 (Started curling down the plug now)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks like you're moving in the right direction now, congrats. Nice growth, color and encrusting.

Thanks. I'm having a phosphate issue some colors subsided a bit recently. in the process of correcting that. The Red Planet in particular was starting to green up with red tips before browning out again.

    Stumbling into moderate success.

As you're well aware (judging by your tank), patience, water quality and patience.

A couple of the frags I didn't show have a new branch or 3 growing. Most of the ones above are just encrusting.

Yep, im going through some of the same stuff. I ditched feeding the tank to try and feed corals and just focused on keeping my fish well fed. Added 2 fish too, and my green monti cap has never looked better. Actually everything is looking really good. Greens like ive never seen. I will see if I can snap some updated pictures on of these days.

That's exactly what I did to improve my color and growth.

I actually had an issue of pale corals which I concluded was due to a lack of available organic carbon. I added two more fish (amino acids too) and saw steady improvement in color. I shot past that success point and into browned corals. Now I need to come back the other way and find that happy-medium again.

    It's all about fine tuning.

The greens were the first thing I saw come in with my SPS, then a little red. Each of those has browned out slightly now, however. My red Monti went from skin tone to fire red.

Looking really good Kevin! As mentioned, you do target feed your corals? What and how often? Curious.....

I broadcast a couple ml of amino acids and a couple ml of ouster eggs on alternating days. I over did it though.

This Montipora has probably grown an inch all the way around in 3 months. The arrow down is new.
