i have had a spiny oyster for about a month has been doing good until yesterday. it had another oyster attached to the bottom of it and its shell cracked from where it was taken from another rock and it died about a week ago. Now the spiny oyster is starting to peel back inside of his shell and is opening reel big. any ideals.

Oysters are generally harder to keep, they require a lot of filter food. It could be dying, but again it may not be. I know with clams, it takes them a very long time to actually die. Besides that, I won't be much help
