I have ran the 400w 14k mogul socket lights for about 3 years now and like the results i get. Are you referring to the lights or some of the other equipment they sell??

My first and only "good" bulb.. has been the SPS 250W Double end. I really like them so far. One reason I bought them is because the get a lot of praise around here. But... I really have nothing to compare it to except the Odyssea bulb that came with my hood.

I use a 250w DE SPS bulb for my quarantine tank and it does well.

I used the 150W SPS double ended on my smaller set up and LOVED it. On my big one, I dont have them on it yet, as its still a newer fixture and running stock bulbs. But when I replace them, it will most likely be with SPS bulbs as well.

IMO they look really nice with LPS but I've found that they seem to be washing out the blues in my acros. I am running them now but when I change, I will be going back to the reflux 12k. I like them better but don't get me wrong. The sps make certain colors pop.
