    here is a fuzzy picture i will try and a get a better one i all had was my camera phone. they look like little worm things and they are just on one rock. they have been this tank for about a month and a half and haven't done anything really just get longer.

    Tube worm/feather duster casings maybe? Are they hard?

    they are semi soft they sway in the water current but they do not lay down with the lack of current. they almost look like veins growing out of the rock.

    I'm going to guess that they are fan worms but a clearer pic would help with a definite i.d. :)
