working on setting up my new Mr. Aqua MA-720. It's 17.4 gals rimless tank. edges over hang a little but it looks really good and the seams are barley visible. I ordered the tank from marinedepot and ups broke it on the first delivery attempt but marinedepot sent me a new one for free. This will be my first "serious" freshwater tank and first one with high light and pressurized co2. Im trying to get rid of my other ones so I just have one tricked out planted tank and my reef

    heres the part list:

    5lb Co2 tank (already have)

    heater (already have)

    Co2 regulator

24" t5 or Power compact light fixture

Mineralized soil for substrate topped with eco complete (need to buy the eco)

    Driftwood (have)

    Stones

co2 diffuser (already have but I might buy a bigger ada or gla one)

Eheim 2211 (bought off S&S should be here in a couple day)

Diy lily pipes (need to order acrylic tubes and will work on that once filter gets here)

let me know if I forgot anything

    Plants:

I know I want a HC carpet and Purple Bamboo and Flame and other Mosses
    rest I don't know

Fish: Prob a school of tetras of some sort unless I decide to do a shrimp only tank. Let me know which one you guys and girls would rather see Ill post a poll also.

As you can see above Im looking for a light fixture, a co2 regulator and some stones. I have some stuff ill trade or sell for them pm me if you have one

heres pictures of the tank and other stuff I already have. I will be getting some more driftwood just put a couple pieces in to see how it looks.

Do you know how to care for shrimp? crystal shrimp are somewhat hard to care for, but they a nice group of them will make your rimless nano look like one of Takashi Amano's (if aquascaped properly). If kept with safe equipment and tankmates and a stable environment they will also breed quickly. I suggest that you focus on shrimp and a maybe a trio of tetras or some otocinclus.

to be honest though even though I made the pole- If I get shrimp its gonna be a shrimp only tank

either way some otocinclus wouldn't hurt, they do a good getting rid of algae and stay small.

yes, they don't get longer than an inch and a half. They are very common with expert planted aquarium keepers.
