I like to know hardy soft corals that look like anemones and are good for a 20 gallon tank.
oooooooo I like the frogspawn. It is very forgiving and puuuurrrdy.
See: COTM - July 2008 - "Frogspawn"
Hardy, low light tolerant, fast growing....and most importantly one of few LPS that "plays" nicely with most soft corals...
Get you one!
Do Clownfish like Frogspawn? I think that is what Barney has been wanting.
Never seen clowns or any other fish for that matter in them as I recall....
Wrasses, CB, etc....always steer around them. Never through...:-/
the only fish i see in them are the small gobies
my clownfish likes zoas alot better than my frogspawn. do you want something clownfish go in or something that looks like a anemone?
Something for the Clown to go in. I'm guessing the tentacles aren't as big as they appear in omard's picture?
Yes. I didn't want a real anemone, because that one less home for clownfish or damsel in the wild.
I actually have a pair of percs that hosted our very large frogspawn. This went on for about six months until the clowns, as they will do with their anemones, became rough and the frogspawn began to go downhill. They now have their very own, huge, LTA...
How about Zoanthids, Palythoa, Protopalythoa, Parazoanthidae and the like!!!! POLYPS!
Easy, come in a wide variety of colors, can find them anywhere and are not very expensive...
frogspawn is a LPS coral
