I havent researched much into applications for aquariums, but I wouldnt imagine it being good for anything but picos and nanos. Its basically just a subminiature flourescent.

best i can find on short notice, but pretty much skinny as heck meaning more bulbs to fit, i think there still testing the 36inchs to 48inchs, just give it time sicne the technology is still being developed, eventually they will have a 48 incher and u could squeeze like 12 of them under a standard 75, lol jeebus u could land a plane with that many lights.

t2? Wow are those skinny! Some folks complain that t5s are easily broken, 3-4 foot t2's might break if you look at them wrong.

I agree I almost wet myself handling the T5's hate to think of how I would react with t2's. I do like the spectrum manipulation that 12 bulbs would allow though.

    Funny.

I looked into it and may just end up w/two (1 daylight 1 actinic)for my Nano tank. It needs a light and they look awesome.
