But aside from that Google PUMA PUNKU or Mayan calendar, or Pyramid of the serpent or others and you will see that regardless of some new Hollywood craze regardless of if the earth is going to end there is ALOT of crazy unexplained stuff from the past!!!

A few others have pointed out that this is a movie trailer. Next time the IHC commercial comes on TV pay close attention. At the very beginning I think it only flashes on the screen for a split second but you will see Columbia Pictures Presents and when its over the last thing you will see is This film has not been rated. +1 I'm a history buff and have heard this theory myself. Last time in south america with my wife we got to see one of the calendar. Would be interesting to see if Planet X actually exists and will come through the solar system.

Planet X was the second moon and is supposed to be visible in 2014....it is behind the sun....it has a 2000 yr revolution......Supposed to be called Niribi...home of the Ananoke....THat is where Stephen King got the name for his book & movie.....I cant remember the name of it (the book) though

I think there are alien ties with the pyramids and the calendars. I don't believe a race so primitive could be so advanced on their own, when it comes to math and physics. There is a lot of evidence of alien contact with the Egyptians, Mayans, and even the Christians. Holy Bible.. Exodus.. talks of ufos and strange beings. If you want to talk Bible, lets talk the rapture. Many will just up and disappear, while others are left with the fate of the earth (plaques and disaster). Who knows they could be rescued by the mothership.. lol.
I believe 2012 will be a new age. I believe some will survive, but I believe many will perish. Talks of polar shifts and evidence cataclysmic events such as natural disasters are rearing their ugly heads everywhere. I take them as a sign of whats to come.

If you read the Celestine Prophecy it tells about about a new age for man. It talks about man fufilling their desires and looking for meaning in life. A higher sense of reasoning and truths. I want to believe we as a society will evovle in our thinking and how we treat the earth, but part of me thinks of man like a disease, and the cataclysms could be the earths own natural immune system.. to wipe out the disease known as man.

There is no acient Egyptian history other than what we have.....just one day in th eOld Testament they showed up with pyramids made from rock hundreds of miles away....it was done by people from another world....

You were on the right track Doc there are two subjects going on in this thread and one is a movie......Mayan history did end abruptly....like the Anasazi...but they were just acient Pueblo Indians....so thats easy history.....

Ever since I was a kid it has been, The winter solstice of 2012, according to the Mayan, calendar which is the most accurate calendar known to man... Weird that it was made thousand years ago and out of rock? According to the Maya the world has been destroyed and rebuilt numerous times... That date the all the planets in our solar system will be in alignment and in line with the center of the galaxy, according to astronomers this hasn't happened in over 20,000 years, and the potential gravitational pull would be incredible enough to take the earth out of orbit. What I wonder is how did these cultures figure this out?
I am not a the sky is falling guy, but when you look back on ancient cultures and what they accomplished with little to know technology, sometimes you have to really take a serious look at it. The other dates, such as 2000 and so one were just made up by recent conpiricists or other sky is falling people.
Take pyramids for example, they are found on every continent except Antartica. Many with the same dimensions. How could cultures seperated by time and space make similar structures when their cultures were so different?
Archeologists recently unearthed a pyramid in central America that is the same foot print of the Great Pyramid in Eygpt and is also on the cardinal points as is the great pyramid. That brings up a another point how does an ancient culture build a structure where all the edges are EXACTLY on North, East, South, and West? Thats pretty darn tricky even today!! Side note on the Great pyramid, recent research suggests that if the pyramid was really made in ~20 years as had been thought, that would mean the Eygptian workers would be quarrying, moving and setting a block in place every 9-13 SECONDS!!! How is that possible!?
I know I am getting off topic but this is only to solidify the vast intelligence of ancient people!! The Pyramid of the Snake... At sundown on the solstices the shadow cast moves down the pyramid than ends up on a rock carved to look like a serpents face... How can an ancient culture plan and build that? Solstice don't happen everyday?! So they need to plan over the course of years where the sun will be facing then create a structure in the PRECISE place to have the shadow fall on... Mind boggling to me!!

Lastly since I could go on all day, Puma Punku, this huge structure was built out of diorite, which is one of the strongest minerals on Earth... Also every block is cut IDENTICALLY, with a equidistant line cut in to it!! If you had a chisel and were cutting into one of the strongest minerals, you are going to tell me you would be able to cut a line, ~1cm wide, ~1cm deep, PERFECTLY STRAIGHT down the block as a guide line? No way. Also if these people had no written language how did they have plans to give to the quarriers/chislers to cut these blocks all identical!?? Makes you wonder....

Sorry for the tangent but even more than fish, ancient civilizations gets me going!!!

Alien's....Even the Holy Bible stated "All the world's thine hand's hath made" We are not alone and that is a known fact....We are just uncivilized....THey would share the knowledge with us but we have yet to come to a full understanding....When they ruin the earth are they going to another planet and put the people there on a reservation like they did us....and then ruin it also....PRomise I wont get biblical or political....

We are in an interglacial period, where warming is inevitable ... regardless of our greenhouse gases. We might make it go a little quicker ... but its an inevitable earth process, thats going to happen, whether humans give it a boost or not.

Its happened 4 times before in the geologic record.

The poles changing is a bigger fear, no pattern, it just happens every few hundred million years.

When the north and south pole reverse, the magnetic field around the earth is non existent, which means no UV protection.

Most people think our Ozone is what keeps the uv rays out ... but without that magnetic field, life ceases to exist.
