I have recently found ich in my tank, i took out all my corals and inverts and started lowering the salinity. Can snowflake eels withstand this drop in salinity?

I have previous experience with keeping large eels (yellow margin and undulated), and they were really robust.

For the purposes of treating ich, I think going down to a salinity of 1.011 (15 ppt) would be safe for the eel.

It would be better to move the eel to a hospital tank for treatment if you have one.
