Does any one know how Long Turbo Snails live? My big snail I had for almost three years just died. It was ½” when I got him and he grew to a 2” Diameter, big snail! He survive many problems w/ my two clowns, including a 115F heater malfunction. Now I have a very stable tank and I am surprise to see him gone.

I don't think nassarius snails would live as long as turbos. They're just not as large or as sturdy, but at least nassarius snails do breed. I think nassarius snails are the coolest, but when it comes to eating algae you just can't beat a turbo.

mine are constantly breeding in the tank, but as of yet there are no baby snails. The babies would probably live in a fuge. I have three nassarius snails in my fuge, but i haven't seen any eggs. Hopefully i'll se some soon.

I'm not sure if something eats them or if they're just hiding in the sand bed.
