    I found this little bugger in the tank today. I don't remember buying it... So it must have gotten there somehow...

    Can someone please help ID it?

    Yup, Stomatella varia. They have the ability to autotomize the back half of the foot to escape predators, but yours apparently hasn't been threatened recently (notice the really long trailing part of the foot).

    wow crazy, i would say stomatella as well though i had no idea they came with yellow mantels. totally harmless and is in fact a good part of a cuc
