I have a small patch of bryopsis that would be very difficult to remove by taking the piece of LR out of the tank. It is connected to another rock and has xenia growing between the two with a bunch of other corals on it. I would do it if I had to, but there is no guarantee that this would keep it from spreading anyway. Is there a spot treatment for one small patch of this stuff. I though about altapsia x, or mag made into a paste. What about temporarily covering it with a ball of epoxy, or super glue? Anyone have any luck. I am already working on finding the source of any phos or nitrates to correct the problem.

    Covering it up will work.
