Who else has a similar situation?

For a short time a sliver of daylight hits my DT while the lights are on.
I have a skylight on my second story landing about diagonally 6 feet over, and over 15 feet above my DT.
For about 10-20minutes certain times of the year, I get direct sunlight, THRU 2 panes of glass in the skylight and onto my DT.

As you can see it 'whites out' my Iphone pic some.

But even with my Chinese LEDS going, that are actually pretty good PAR- I measured 'em, the sun thru the double pane skylight is still way brighter!

Yeah, I feel good about how bright my lights are until sunset when the sun shines on it for a few minutes making it seem as if my lights aren't even on.

Although I'm in Michigan so those moments are precious few....;D

Parallel to you here in WI, the wun rarely hits the tank as well.

In the winter for a few weeks thru my windows that face south, and in the summer for a few weeks thru the skylight.
