Slime in Water

    I had my turkey baster in my tank and it felt like it had slime when I took it out. Any ideas. I have a little brown algae on my pink birdsnest but very little. Should I do I big water change?

    How much slime? Some corals produce slime or when they "poop" they do. Some fish do also, such as a sixline wrasse. It could have gotten on the baster.
