How long can a tank stay stable w/o a protein skimmer? I have a 55 gallon with 20 gallon refugium. My fish bioload is in my signature. I keep lps and softies for corals. It's been established for about six months.

How long do you think it will be before you will get your skimmer?

You should be ok for a week or two. The corals will love you. Depending on how you feed its gonna pull some major skimmate once it kicks in.

So when a skimmer quits bubbling, what's typically the cause?

Yea sorry was working on the skimmer. Took the whole thing apart. Problem was at the end of the intake tube that goes into the pump was clogged, not alot, but enough to make it stop producing bubbles. We are back in business.
