I'm not sure if this is stupid question or not. But if you take coral or Frag from tank that has ick and as I always do dipp them in Bayer or Coral Rx. Am I introducing ick to my tank anyway or dipp will kill them as they are kind of worms and parasites? Thanks in advance. Art.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Technically you're probably not killing the parasite as Cryptocaryon Irritans has the ability to encrust/encapsulate. A very limited number of solutions are effective against the parasite and non of those are found within common coral dips. With all the said although there is a risk associated of contamination or introduction with any item that is moist that you introduce to the system odds are probably relatively low. Just dip and rinse, or if you want to be extreme leave any introductions in a fallow system for 2 months.

The only stupid question is the one not asked.
