I removed one of the corner overflows on the tank I'm setting up. It left two lines where the silicone was. I've razored it good and tried denatured alcohol but it doesn't come off. Anyone deal with thus before?

Pretty sure you will need acetone. Just use in a well ventilated area. Some people have had success using abrasion to remove the residue. If you don't want to use acetone try a magic eraser pad.8)You can also try lemon or lime juice.

Thanks Vinny. I will try the acetone. I will try with 0000 steel wool which usually takes everything off of glass.

Well here is what I tried today. Acetone,0000 steel wool, razors, muratic acid. Nothing has worked. Haven't tried the lemon or lime juice but if muratic acid doesn't work, I have little hope
