I have a candy cane coral that recently started shriveling up and becoming a fluourescent yellow/white color. All the parameters in my tank are unchanged, I did add a pagoda cup coral and a sun polyp recently. My ricordea is paling in color and doesnt look like it is growing any. I'm not sure what to do... any help would be appreciated.

What kind of lighting do you have? I've seen candy canes do that when exposed to too much light or an abrupt change in intensity.

    Anything else change?

I have a nano cube deluxe, so the lighting is just the standard two 24-watt 50/50 compact fluorescent lamps. I did recently move the live rock so the candy cane is higher than before... maybe thats it. I like the new rock formation so do you think it would be ok to place the candy cane on the bottom level or would that shock it as well?

    Thanks for your help. :)
