I was thinking about getting a tiger pistol shrimp but already have a cleaner and blood shrimp. Does anybody know if these will be compatible? On liveaquaria it says the tigher is peaceful so...thanks

I was thinking about getting the exact same shrimp.  that is cleaner fire and tiger pistol.  I asked a couple of different LFS and they all said it was fine.  All of the LFS dont always agree so when they do i feel pretty confident.

I've heard of a mantis being added to a tank with two pistols and the pistols shocked it to death with the loud sound they make. They're not very aggressive but stuff like that can happen.

    Hey everyone,

We've got four peppermints, two skunk cleaners, and at least two pistols in our tank. All are doing great. There is the occasional territorial/food dispute between the peppermints and the larger skunks though, but no harm done.

BTW, we're seeing the pistols more commonly now as the tank matures and settles in. They're very pretty!
